The Maine State Troopers Foundation Women in Law Enforcement Scholarship Fund was founded in 2021 by a group of female State Troopers with the goal of encouraging young women to choose careers in law enforcement and supporting them along the way. This year's scholarship is available to female high school seniors graduating in 2024 who are entering a law enforcement/criminal justice program at a college or university.

• January 24 - May 3, 2024 : Application period.

• May 3, 2024: Deadline to submit application and supporting documents.

• May 2024: Five finalists will be contacted and interviewed.

• June 2024: Award recipients will be recognized at the Maine State Police Merit and Citations Awards Ceremony.

• January 2025: Monetary awards will be issued after the completion of the recipients' first semester of college.
