In 2021, the women of the Maine State Police hosted the annual New England State Police Administrators Compact (NESPAC) Women in Law Enforcement Leadership Conference. All proceeds from fundraisers at the conference went to create a scholarship fund to support the young women of Maine in their pursuit of careers in law enforcement. These patches have been created as a fundraising effort to sustain the scholarship fund.

This year’s patch will be sold at the 2023 NESPAC Women’s Leadership Conference hosted by Massachusetts State Police, represented by the blue color and MA state emblems. Each year a new patch will be created to represent the host state. The 2024 conference will be held in Rhode Island, so next year their state will be depicted on a patch. By the time Maine hosts the conference again, there will be a full set of patches available representing each New England state.

The suggested donation is $5/patch, but donations of any amount are greatly appreciated. All donations will go to the Maine State Troopers Foundation Women in Law Enforcement Scholarship.
